Also as mentioned. You can hate how the game plays or flows, but it is what it is. Personally I love it. If you find it slow, that's what the various gears are for. You can equip 2 speed gears and go full sanic. If not the game has dozens of combat mods on nexus that do all sorts of tweaks like animation cancelling, moveset replacers, or being able to parry and dodge at the same time.

I just tried it right now and it didn't work. I'll look it up later. I'm certain there's some way to do it since this game is made in UE4 and thus has a shitton of features that allow for these sorts of things.

Demo itself, no not really. You are missing out on a lot of your skills. However the stalker boss is a nice feel on how the combat is in the game. You still a unlock a hell lot more options in the game itself.
