Indians must be the luckiest evolutionary draw in the world because i cannot imagine any other species ever continuously fail at natural selection that much and STILL have its numbers be in billions across the globe

I think the last thing I read that involved Bright was 2935.
Where Bright's sole contribution is that he was permanently dead on the 2935 earth.

I don't envy you.
For me, the baseline in this is nothing. If anything comes from it, I'll be positively surprised.
I still signed. My cynicism shouldn't be the judge of possible change.

>What games are we rallying to the defense and preservation of specifically?
All of them. Every single game.
You may not care about some games, and that's completely normal but some other person might and their preferences are not less valid simply because they are not (You).
I want every single game to be available. I take media preservation very seriously because it means that someone, somewhere, maybe in the future might stuble upon an obscure game/music/movie and they beyome enthralled by it for any reason. This possible happiness is more important to me than any company crying about licenses and hardships. It's fundamentally irrelevant to me because entertainment products were always meant to be enjoyed.
Obviously, not ALL games can be saved because many have already been lost to time, but this shouldn't stop anyone from trying their best in preserving media.

I don't like it
I just think it's a meme
No breakthroughs since initial algorithm was invented but power usage goes up and it's still shit

Oh shit I forgot the incessant whinging over diversity of applicants. That's another one that HR drives like they're trying to go for the ESG olympics. "uhh anon we've noticed a lack of diversity in the engineering and support teams, care to explain?"
Yes.
- I need engineers who speak my language at native level.
- I couldnt care less what skin they're wearing. If they dare enter my magical realm, they better pass my tests or they're getting my foot up their ass on the way out.
- I couldn't care less if they have a pussy, as long as it isn't made my problem. As it turns out not many of them want to continue once I explain the role and what is expected of them.
- I don't give a shit what religion they have. If they pray to a mountain monkey that's fine. Just meet your deadlines and don't fuck up and make problems.
If 20 jeets get filtered by my engineering challenge, QA challenge or Support challenge, that's not my problem. Another company can hire them. I only accept good applicants. We pay top dollar for talent so I'll be damned if I'm going to let a braindead retard in to fuck up morale and productivity for diversity points. We're a business, not a charity.

I will be very surprised if any non-european nation reach the quarter finals in 2026. Argies don't have the hunger for a wc like in 2022. Brazil still need way more time to create some solid ground floor. Ancelotti will certainly leave after 26, so I hope that CBF hires someone semi-decent quite fast after that.
