In a way he was oblivious, but not entirely. While I do think he misread the situation, he was also terrified and he might just be something of a weirdo... or unironically autistic. Not trying to be mean but the spread is very eh, psychological.

Eh this is one of those readings that I thing knowing might be worse... so i won't go too much into detail and just give you the simplified version.

If nothing changes, you'll continue to be very casual for a while which is good for now, but not for later. Something "happens" [redacted] and you end up in a position where it kinda is up to you if you want it to make it a more committed relationship, which I think you will.

I do not think that she will, or not entirely. Consciously, she is regretful or afraid of conflict, but internally she feels as if it was for the best. I believe she somehow associates you as demanding and it plays a big part in this, maybe she believed you self-centered. She did consider you a good friend overall and enjoyed your time together, but this sentiment is likely partially a coping mechanism, but also grounded in a genuine critique that she had for a time. She felt like the lesser part in the friendship

I struggle trying to figure out why do [You] think she did this. There's a message of distance, but also could relate to a guy? I am curious of your take on this, but the real reason is that she was weak and insecure, separating might have made her feel like she could take some control in her life.

If these fears are about someone else, they are partially true, but barely. I mean they are true in the sense that they might be difficult to handle and there are emotions and feelings being guarded, but other than pride and ego I would believe the situation is manageable.

You can manage both options, but staying keeps you on some sort of competition, I assume with coworkers and that makes it very disharmonious. I dont think you "need" to leave right away but looking for something more aligned to yourself, perhaps a better group of people seems advised. Good luck

I am sad to say that... well, old habits die hard. I am not sure if you'll continue interactions with him, but even if you don't, you are unlikely to meet someone that catches your attention... or perhaps it's not that exactly, but something in between. You haven't fully recovered would be my first guess and that skewers your perception and interests. You are almost there though, soon you'll find a clean slate, you are just still in the process of it this year. Best of luck

If you play Tunic at the surface level it's a below-average Zelda clone with Dark Souls mechanics shoehorned in, with some fairly awful combat.
