Yes, unironically. In fact I'll go further, we should preserve all those soap operas with every single translation, edit, and different screenings that changes even a single episode. Every artistic media, no matter how insignificant, should be preserved.

I seed a bunch of obscure games, hentai, movies, books and so on while I'm not working on my computer. I do it for free, out of principle.
Media preservation has never been easier and cheaper since the internet and peer-2-peer solutions.
