I just find that putting myself into a different state of mind is refreshing and keeps things interesting, like dreaming.

Also sometimes smoke weed when easing into the drunken state so I can use the tailend of the vyvanse high to implement some cool gamedev ideas that I wouldn't have thought of without weed, makes me appreciate subtleties more and aesthetic traits are more likely to pop
