i think the prince is still Ralsei but i do believe Susie's not the hope girl, especially with how "the girl with hope crossed on her heart" and "at last was the girl" are two separate entries whose wording seemingly mentions two separate people, plus the heroine from the prophecy is meant to wear ribbons, which Susie does not
i'm 50/50 over the first hero being either Kris or our Vessel, a cage is a weird way to describe a human so i'm maybe going with Vessel, unless Kris used to be one

The vessel HAS a mind, it is just that mind is shaped to basically be a copy of our own. If we assume that the acts come from Kris, it just means the vessel will have acts based off the personality traits we gave it at the start of the game.
I do hope the gifts and shit have some effect, even if just flavor text.
