With the exception of chapter 2 and 4's weird paths, it feels like fighting just actively makes your gameplay experience worse. I mean, sure, you can get through it faster, so it doesn't take so long to replay a chapter... but it doesn't really add anything to the experience, you know? Plus, the game has this weird mixed message about fighting being necessary at times, but it doesn't really commit to it. So far, the only entity we are required to fight was the Titan.

In the end, the UT saga is kind of working the other way around, getting back to that nostalgic feeling of being a child and transgressing what's supposed to be forbidden, playing adults. Somehow I cannot really see how children can take a liking at this game, it would be kinda traumatic in a way if they went to the end of the game or a weird route. Take for example Earthbound, its ending is kinda disturbing. As an adult, no big problem, but as a child, I wouldn't be so sure...

Even if you want to kill the King of Spades, he gets pacified. I get that Snowgrave and Deflowering are meant to be dark and uncomfortable, but part of me thinks it would work better if there was more impact on actually fighting enemies. Part of the problem is that we're looking at a literally half-complete game, but I can't help but feel that the weird route would be better if it was a bit more ambiguous. Like, instead of just mercing the darkners, it could have you being more forceful and demanding Noelle get stronger and more assertive.

Genocide has negative implications, Weird doesn't necessarily mean bad or outright evil.
Weird route very closely follows the idea of chasing freedom to choose, with (You) having many more options to how the game plays out compared to the more linear Pacifist route.
Some characters can die, you can abort the route at certain points, even the Twisted Sword is still a big mystery.

Saw my dad cry for the first time. He was very concerned on convincing me he did not have a physical affair. I recommend trying to identify the largest shapes in the drawing with tracing, and then recreating them. This would be better to do on real photos of models, because other people's art pieces have mistakes you won't notice because you haven't learned to yet. Everything is made up of simple shapes. In art class you learn to always sketch those shapes first, and then refine and add details. My art teacher made us do ten second figure drawings where we had to sketch out our model as completely and quickly as possible. This teaches you to be able to grasp the structure/defining form of your model without yet worrying over little things.

Potentially unpopular opinion since everyone seems to love 4: I think the direction inputs-based minigames in 4 are kinda dull and repetitve, and there's too many sections where they're mandatory to do. Maybe I'll feel better about them once I replay it but they're not as fun the minigames from 3

Tenna is absolutely hysterical and one of my favorite parts of the entire game so far, every moment he's onscreen the game gets better. Wasn't that much of a fan of the NES/Famicom sections but the weird route makes it much better.
