Not only is it not raid or die, you can literally get Mythic tier appearances doing solely delves if you really wanna relive your days of doing the Mage Tower as appropriately undergeared specs going for borderline tryhard levels that you can take your sweet ass time to progress through until you eventually get items the right item level and type (Hero 8/8 to be specific) and use a Spark console to turn them into ilevel appropriate tier gear. You don't have to touch dungeons or raiding, let alone PVP (but if you want glad and elite you gotta PVP suck it up buttercup).

Mythic+ returning to form with giving Cata Heroics level of difficulty that requires a steady coordinated effort and only punishing deaths (and much more severely) means that no more cancerous fucking GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGO retardation. Dungeons can finally be ball busters without a shitty timer fucking everything up. Raids no longer hold the game in a death grip (in fact most classes are now being balanced around Mythic+ and Raid split lmao). It's the best it's gonna be in an extremely long time, but as they say about polishing a turd...
