She is a very fun loving person who appreciates adventure and Sonic's company. Two peas in a pod, neither are looking for something super serious or committed. And that's exactly why they work better than most of Sonic's half-baked ships. Cream is one of the few characters who could bring Sonic's guard down without pushing him away. Sonic is a naturally exciting and attractive figure to Cream as an adventurer who brings excitement and fun to her more civilian life. Balance.
