Speaking of which, it was adopted by the French as a symbol of "liberty" but mostly worn by women ideals and personifications, but I cannot find how that is a connection to the cult of Mithras which was an exclusively masculine cult. Feminine cults tended to devolve into sexual orgies and debauchery, so I just think they take those symbols for themselves as a mockery or something.
This same thing just extended to the USA who constantly talks about liberty, freedom and democracy while they go around destroying everything.
