It would profit anyway. The real problem is the game having such a small budget being part of a billion dollar franchise, that is the real shame
When I look at the game's texture, I don't think "game freak is lazy" anymore, I just think "holy shit, they actually made a functional game with that amount of money", the voice acting, the lack of all pokemons, the bugs, the ps2 era graphics, it all makes sense once you realize the budget for the game is laughable
