I have a morning ritual that I feel I need share. I call it "the Matikanefukukitaru." First, I squat down in the shower in the classic "praying to Shiraoki-sama" pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing the local jinja. I start to chant "ekoekoazarashi ekoekoottosei..." first in my head, and then outloud with gradual increase in volume. Then I slowly rise to a standing position, open my eyes, and shout "VICTORY COME TO ME". It helps me to proceed through my day as a lucky-musume. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my leg. It ruins the fantasy.
