valve is trying to bridge the gap between mobas and class/hero shooters
thing is, I fucking hate MOBAs so much that the MOBA elements just put me off. more specifically, I hate laning and jungling. or map control in general. which is weird because I used to play a lot of RTSes back in the day, but I still could never get into MOBAs. I might play Deadlock if they ever add an ARAM mode or whatever, but otherwise they can fuck off
