I think it's safe to say that the "nothing ever happens" crowd has been on a winning streak for a while. The only times something ever happened was Russian invasion of Ukraine, and Hamas invasion of Israel. Even Israel and Iran bombing each other doesn't constitute a real happening, because it's not a full blown war and they didn't happen out of nowhere with no prelude.
