Just finished watching Deep Rising. Spent a lot of the film thinking that the movie would have benefited from a better leading man and that the special effects were absolutely shit.
Turned out Harrison Ford was originally pegged for the lead and dropped out after which the budget was slashed. The movie was meant to lead on to a King Kong reboot.
