My nyagger, I am about to change your life. You can also win an open hand if all of your tiles are between 2 and 8 of any suit (so no 1 or 9 tiles (called terminals) and no dragons (the red, white, green tiles) or winds (both dragons and winds are called honor tiles). This yaku is called Tanyao (or 'all simples') and is the best yaku in the game. Any time you have a bunch of shiny tiles and you want to win FAST, pon-nya and chi-nya your way to a tanyao (NO WINDS OR DRAGONS NEEDED). This is powerful knowledge.

The difference between a nyagger and an AI is astronomical. Only a nyagger can play with soul (i.e. furiten 90% of the time).

I've spent like 50 bucks on this game and only gotten 2 characters I've wanted. No way I'll buy a fortune charm for 25% odds of rolling
