What I don't understand is why anyone wants those jobs? I have worked them. You know in a perfect world, where everyone was nice and respected, it wouldn't be bad. It could be fun to be the guy behind the counter at a old school burger / diner or something. But the need for convenience and drive-thru's etc, makes it a very unpleasant experience, not to mention the different tiers of patrons that you encounter.
I am also an automation engineer, and I would rather spend my time operating / maintaining robots that do the work, and I get paid more, and there are few people, which is only better for the environment, etc
