Comfy tech stuff for me as well, only automotive related: I'm repairing & extending a wiring harness for a friend's electronic fuel map tuning device from Japan, as he bought it used and it's missing said harness. I have the very end of one, the important part, the plug, with about two inches of original leads, so I'm extending it out for him so he can actually use it.
