For me it was OE, but we don't have that in leafland anymore. So for me it's Colt 45. It is unironically the best tasting 8% ABV beer. I've tried tons, from competing malt liquors to faggy "EXTRA STRONG" IPAs, stouts, and sours. I also tried Steel Reserve but it tastes nasty in comparison.
No other 8% (or above) ABV beer strikes the same balance between alcohol content, crisp texture, and flavor as Colt 45. It is the cleanest, best drinking experience. I'm cracking open a can of Colt 45 right now
