Do what I do... give it to a money/wealth manager and expect around 10% returns a year plus or minus some. They will put you in stocks, funds, REITS, notes and a whole bunch of diversified stuff. You won't be hitting the lottery and it won't be "sexy" but your steady return should bring you in quite a bit of coin. USE THAT as your fuck around money and reinvest what you don't use. Also buy some precious metals too just for the heck of it.
This is how I live my life. I made a good bit of money in the 90s during the .com boom and sold my dad's home after he died and over time that became ALOT of money. Doing it this way is safe relatively. Good luck and stay humble. This is around my income each year from interest.
