Occult fuckery of the elites explained for newfags
Let's discuss the political implications of political elites practicing ritual "magic", starting with a primer on what it really is and why they do it.

The purpose of rituals and cerimonies in "magic" is to help induce and support various states of consciousness, to lead the mind with the body, or program the subconscious. This is common knowledge even for arm chair occultists over in /omg/. Crowley and Gardner were big on ritual, and both explain exactly what I have simplified here in my own words. It isn't strictly necessary, but many people find ritual helpful.

The entire realm of spiritual or psychic phenomena and abilities is similar to dreaming. The moment you doubt or question if you can fly in a dream, you fall. It's exactly like this. Your belief limits what you are capable of. Whether or not you can remote view, lucid dream, astral project, perceive thoughts and emotions of others, or commune with "enitities", etc; it all strongly relies on belief. It's the first and most important requirement.

Now if "elites" are trying to channel some sort of wise but malevolent entities, generally "evil", "demonic" themes might help them with the self suggestion required to do so. What the entities are is an entirely different debate. Maybe it's Jungian; vistigial aspects of the human mind or some sort of emergent behavior of a so-called collective unconscious. Maybe Swedwnborg's framework of Angels and Demons would be more accurate. You can take a more traditional religious view too, but it's easy to get lost and confused misinterpreting outdated cultural symbolism. From the perspective of a mystic it's irrelevant. In any case, the experiences one can have in "contacting entities" are reproducible, and can provide the practioner with information non locally. That's their primary advantage, and that's why they do this shit.

Yes, they are crazy. Yes, it works.

What do you guys do when halfway through your run, it starts to get boring because you realized that the objective you are going towards doesn't fit with what you currently have in your colony. example that's different than my starting scenario but follows the same issue: starting as uber psycaster and start playing, while doing research realize that X mod that i just installed but never played with seems way more fun than my current trajectory (uber psycasters colony) and now idk if i should restart the whole run or what... please help me
