it's still kinda surprising just how much evidence there is that remains of what this sidequest was supposed to be like, so it must have been scrapped really late in the development. Baal Zebub's sex scene is even from this original incarnation of herself in a completely antithetical way to how she's used in the final game and even her skill dialogue such as her talk skills contains cut references to this arc that never was. All while also tying her back to the original three as well.

I definitely like the Hive Mind and it's one of the funniest parts of the final path, but I really do wish we could've had this in the final game. Hopefully in NG++ we can turn her back to normal. She used to be normal, supposedly, before she became whatever she is now.
