Thanks, yeah it was not easy. I see why a lot of games do not animate in game in Unity. Cinemachine is complicated, so I went with Game creator 2 for the camera work. I had to extend that to have previews outside of runtime. I have tried mocap too. The quality of mocap is blah. So much cleaning up and I still am in the process of getting myself a Coil Pro so that I can increase the quality of the mocap. With just a smartsuit pro 2 and smartgloves, it's not really worth it.

Based fellow Nekomimi enjoyer. Some feedback:
Louise is kicking my ass, cannot get past her. Her attacks deal too much damage for this stage of the game. Her spear throwing attack is too short and should go past the camera. Maybe I missed it, but I think there is no clear indicator on how to dodge her AoE attack (other than moving back), maybe make a gap in that wall of flames that you can go through.

Haha, lol no. I am testing what works and what does not for the animation in the cutscenes of my game. My hope was that I could make Rokoko work with the characters I have that have non-ARKIT blendshapes. It works, but it's not great. Then I applied ARKIT to the models and did some testing. Still not great without heavy cleanup and custom scripts. With the automated route, I have a very consistent and controllable output.
