This was already the case, most 2.0 blasts had AP4.

the Aux basically only ever got armour saves when they're being shot at by tactical marines and each other. But you get to bring literally hundreds of the bastards so things balanced out.

If tactical spam is on the menu the aux can play into that, certainly better than they could play into dreadspam.
