It doesn't ruin any characters except TiM if for some god forsaken reason you thought he was not an evil motherfucker the moment you met him. Most of the character endings are quite good actually. Bonus points for any time you have Javik with Liara and he dunks on her world views constantly.

The ending does suck tho.
