It's also definitely a design flaw that you have to put your blinkers on and hold yourself back to not curbstomp the game. I'm all for expressive strategies and builds letting you stomp superbosses but you can even choose to shit all over Simon as early as level 90ish if you really want to. Build expression shouldn't turn into "willingly handicap yourself and not use everything you've found", there's a balance they didn't find
