Communism will take over, eventually. As nomadic hunter gatherer tribes gave way to early civilization and primitive city states, as those gave way to formalized republics and monarchies, as those gave way to feudalism and mercantilism, as those gave way to democracy and capitalism, so too will the current economic system be replaced by something new. It's a simple matter of technology.

The #1 problem with planned economies in the past was a lack of data. How the fuck is some commissar in Moscow supposed to know how many of everything should be supplied to Vladivostok 3 years from now?
Today that's a solved problem. Mass collection and processing of data is pretty much all we've been specializing in for at least 30 years. AGI would improve that capability tenfold, but I don't see AGI coming from LLMs.
