Reddit is already asking for verification of UK users for violence/gore/nudity subreddits. EU planning to roll it out with a digital wallet sometime next year. Thoughts? What's the real reason they are trying to turn the Internet into an American Online nanny ISP and why aren't tech companies fighting back? Shouldn't it be up to the parents to put censorship/nanny monitoring controls on their children's phones? Are we just going to go back to desktop apps to circumvent all of this HTTP monitoring?
