Aliciafag cope depends entirely on the least forgiving possible interpretation of anything verso/renoir does, the most forgiving possible interpretation of anything alicia does, and a healthy dose of lies. Not unlike versofags who argue that Lumierenes are nonsentient AIs or that the canvas world doesn't matter. This plot is entry level nuance - both endings are obviously meant to be very tragic, with a glimmer of positive takeaway.
