During WWII and the immediate aftermath, famine ravaged Europe. People were eating tulip bulbs to survive.
The ones that had the least trouble were the ones who had a whole bunch of fruit/nut plants to supplement their diet.
WWIII is slowly heating up and could last well over half a decade. Why aren't you growing a food forest?

Have you noticed the uptick of propaganda against growing your own food "for climate change"?
By doing it yourself you massively reduce the carbon footprint of your produce, but they hate it. Why? THEY DON'T PROFIT.
Your wellbeing will always be tertiary to them.
