I was actually thinking about this recently. My verbal IQ is quite high and my spatial IQ isnt that bad but my math and my adaptive behaviors in particular are abysmal. I will never be able to without help, tackle basic responsibilities like cleaning or doing bills or talking on the phone without help. I am not even allowed to use the stove top at all because theres a very big chance Id burn the house down. Basically any responsibility you wouldnt give to an 8 yr old I will never be able to do without someone guiding me and in that respect I envy most neurotypical people even if I dislike interacting with them. I dislike them but envy that they can do things like that without help and dont even think twice about it.
