I agree that its not just the voice thats the issue. As I said previously, most who hated it switched to JP anyway if they hadn't already.
But Kate absolutely plays a bigger role in world building than people realize she does and that is also a massive problem with DT, beyond the main retarded narrative.

Considering the constant defense of modernslop glams and modbeasts in these threads (by the same posters who defend this game as a whole), and considering the /xivg/ community (the only other FFXIV community on 4chan outside of /v/ who have crossover with these threads and universallydefend the game still), it has finally dawn(trailed) on me just who is still left defending FFXIV in its current state on /v/ :

It's the modbeasts themselves, the same ones who reside in xivg. FFXIV threads on /v/ are still overwhelmingly filled with whiteknights who defend Dawntrail and all the current ills with the game up to and including modernslop and modbeasts is because the xivg modbeasts have invaded these threads and are actively camping them 24/7 to defend their ERP simulator. There has, fir some unknown reason, been a massive community of Secondlife ERPing modbeasts who took up residence on vg and have invaded /v/ to defend their literal Second life, and they're the vast majority of the remaining FFXIV players on 4chan. Which is why, despite literally everywhere else is overwhelmingly negative about the game right now, 4chan us still overwhelmingly defensive of the game. The only FFXIV posters left on this hellhole of site are ERPing Secondlife modbeasts.
