yeah, from my understanding it's more in line with puzzle and dragons than puyo puyo in terms of structure, really i only give a shit due to (even if i don't really like the post 20th art) old characters having new art and some of the alt costumes are neat like the steam city set.

yeah. for some reason the english twitter a while back started advertising it while also showing the first looks at some of the puzzle pop versions of the chronicle models for some reason but nothing came of it.

i like how fiery arle's friendships are, ringo's are more completely nice to one another and amitie's has a bit of both (when they're actually used and not falling back on arle/amitie/ringo being super best friends again), but arle's group is usually one step away from killing eachother due to their antics but never actually going through with it.

i really hope it's good, after the multiple gut punches of puzzle pop being exclusive to apple arcade, tetris 2S existing in general and the original MSX madou games being untranslated i want to feel happy about these games again.

yeah i don't really get it, the site has an english age rating instead of CERO so it's most likely releasing on the english eshop too but madou isn't exactly a game you can brute force your way through unless it's only showing the japanese screenshots for some reason. probably good for japanese fans but if it's also a way for westerners to get acquainted with it before Fia comes out possibly locking it to a language they can't understand is an odd choice.
