It would open a lot of possibilities to do content that people already do. Let's say you can take your date wherever you want in the overworld. At some point you unlock a selfie cam/hovering camera. Using the item will put you in a picture mode that lets you pose with your date. The further you are the more pose variations you get: posing, holding hands, hugging, them carrying you/you carrying them, kissing... and now you can take pictures during those animations. Shit people do with mods but... you know... introduce them into the regular game.
