Adjusting to a new job. Can’t complain about anything except my shoes being too small, I guess? Just find it kind of surreal after how much blood, sweat and tears I put into my first career trajectory, the second is going much more smoothly purely because I hit it off with a random family friend at hotpot night who just happened to be the executive director of where I work.

It’s just so random I’m seething internally about how little control I have over my life and how unintentional any of this was, passing some boiled shrimp ultimately had more impact on my life than any amount of networking or job hunting.
