Several major villains in Care Bears (Dark Heart, No Heart, the Spirit, etc) are basically just Kingdom Hearts Heartless or eldritch demons, being entities of pure concentrated evil who intend to make the entire world lose all ability to care and love (which would turn Earth into Hell basically and cause Care-A-Lot to poof out of existence). The reason the setting never say, goes full small horses DBZ battle for the fate of all creation against them is purely because the setting is much more lighthearted and even the most evil villains are usually defeated without killing them such as Dark Heart getting Redeemed, No Heart eventually getting redeemed in Unlock The Magic, and the Spirit just getting locked back in her book forever.

Of course some exceptions exist. Like the evil sentient desert winds in one UTM episode which cause all the bears to lose hope and faith in what they're doing or any desire to do anything but sit and wait to die in the inhospitable desert sands by gaslighting them with endless doomfsggotry whispers. Said winds/whispers, when finally defeated at the end of the episode by the bears being convinced to no longer take their shit, scream one last attempt to get them to give up and die before falling inert into the sand.

Help the words keep coming now.

6:00 am

"Suns up! That means we are to!" Ritsuka's ever familiar voice cries out. On instinct venti rolls out of bed a moment before the redhead jumps onto his shaking it. A tried and tested way of making sure he was up.
"I'm up! I'm up... you know you don't have to do that every morning right?" He asks tiredly looking down at the martial artist who just made a mess of his bed.

"It's quicker this way." She says chipper, lurching herself up. Venti decides to leave her to get ready and go do the same. He pulls open a drawer and grabs one of the white robes he rarely wore, all his tunics were dirty and he needed to wash them.
"We're not training together today right? What are you doing. Something with midna? Music club meeting?" Ritsuka asks from her side of the room. Tying her sash around her waist tight.

"Ah I've got something big today!" Venti beams, a touch of pride creeping into his tone.
"The old man says I have enough expertise as a healer to act as a proper healer for the public. Going to be in Mabe, down the mountain, for the day and a bit this week to serve the village."

Ritsuka beams and slings a arm around him in a one armed hug.
"Oh danm really? Well congratulations bro! Look at you moving up in the world. I remember when you first got here a few years ago. All wide eyed with elder Zhon Li And now your a doctor. I'm proud of ya!"

"I'm no doctor! I'm not certified or anything! But... It's been eight years. I'd hope I'd of made some progress at this point." Venti shakes his head, Grinning exasperatedly. Trying in vain to get free of the monkey womans ironclad grip.
"Well if they're letting you treat people I'd say your close enough. You're do great though I just know." She smiles widely before finally letting him go.

"Well... thanks." Venti grins pulling away. "I promise I wont be gone to long. I just want to get some actual experience and helping people a bit. Wont interfere with cultivation to much."
Ritsuka nods approvingly. "Good! we still have to move onto the big boulders sometime next year at the rate we're going."

Venti just nods along. "Of course. Of course. I could never deprive you of the joy of chucking giant rocks at your family."
He grins rolling his eyes. Taking a step back only to promptly trip. Sending him sprawling to the ground.
"Ow" The healer mumbles picking himself up and brushing himself off.
"That was weird what did I even trip on.." He looks down and frowns noticing the bottom of his rarely worn robe dragged across the floor.
"Did I... pick up the wrong clothes last time I went to the washhouse." He reaches down and grabs the bottom of his clothes pulling the bottom up above his ankles.
"Let me check the back, should have whoever it belongs To's name on it." Ritsuka suggests stepping closer.
"Ah right. Good idea." He nods, letting Ritsuka grab the back and peer at whatever was written on the inside.
"Nope! Says Venti on the back here." His friend says stepping back again.

"Thats weird." Venti purses his lips together. "Maybe someone made it bigger as a joke or something. Midna maybe?" He shakes his head trying to think of how to keep from tripping today.

"I mean... is that your original novices robe? The one you got when you first got here?" Ritsuka questions.
"Yeah. Don't really wear it to much so its not really worn down. Why?" He asks tilting his head.
Ritsuka just looks at him up and down before laughing, shaking her head.
"Man the clothes aren't bigger you've just shrunk!" She grins poking him in the cheek.

"What? No I haven't!" Venti protests shaking his head vehemently.
"Yeah... you have." Ritsuka pokes him again not dissuaded. A bit amused at the healers embarrassment.
"I mean they'res nothing wrong with that. Cultivating can have some unexpected effects on people after a while. I mean have you looked in a mirror lately? You look pretty different then when you got here."

"I do?" Venti's eyes widen as he suddenly tries to think back to the last time he really looked at himself. He goes over the mirror in the corner of the room. Largely ignored by both its inhabitants and brushes a hand over the dust on its surface.
"Yeah, Thought you knew that. Cultivation does make humans hylians eventually anyway. I know we talked about that once. It's just a sign of your place here now." Ritsuka follows him. Hands tucked behind her back. A bit amused but noticing he did seem actually bothered by this.
"...Listen its fine though. You don't look bad or anything. I'd say its a improvement! It is for most everyone." She frowns for a moment. Watching venti get a good look at himself for about half a minute before he speaks up slowly.

"My hair's black now." He mutters. Running a hand through it and plucking one. Squinting at it.
"Yeah... your hairs black." Rituska confirms nodding, before adding jokingly.
"You know though... given your tri-cultivating I'm surprised your hair didn't go all blonde like the royal family instead. I hear that happens to tri-cultivators."
Venti chuckles a bit nodding. Still narrowing his eyes as he tries to refamiliarize himself with... well himself.
"My ears are weird looking to." He says reaching up to tug at the slightly edged tips of his ears.
"Well... of course there a little weird right now. You're still changing. You're only like...half hylian right now. But hey by the time you're done your probably be more comfortable in your own skin then you were before. I know I was." Ritsuka grins tugging at his other ear trying to lighten the mood before being swatted off.

Venti can't help but smile a bit at her antics before sighing. "Well... it's not a bad change."
He concedes, relaxing a bit. "I am shorter though... and look younger then when I actually got here."
Rituska sighs relieved he didn't seem so... disturbed like he was only about a minute ago.
"Hmm yeah maybe a bit for both those things but hey it comes with the territory. Would you rather spend eternity as some old guy instead? I don't think I've met a old cultivator that had it actually be they're true form. Even your old man isn't actually a old man."

"I suppose you have a point." He nods closing his eyes. "Still it's jarring a bit."
Rituska nods finally satisfied. Taking a step back.
"Thats fair. Just... give it time to get used to it yeah? In four years this'll be a blip I promise you."
"Four years huh? I'll hold you to that." The healer sighs but nods grinning.

Fair. I like to think Venti here is fairly short but not outrageously so.

>Just wait until blue highlights appear.
I was going to have those along with the cyan/blue eyes to start pop up in the second or third stage. After he ends up getting a relic thats basically a font for Air/Wind essence. As a sign of exposure and also admittedly cultivation progress. Maybe some actual markings of the same color in the immortal stage that glow when elemental stuff or magics channeled.

>Interesting idea there. Perhaps, if one wishes to be precise, the hair color is not blond, but golden.
Exactly so honestly. Ritsuka just wasn't really being precise. Tri cultivators are often golden blonde I think (and also rather rare admittedly. I think venti would be the only one in the group of novices he was welcomed as a part of for example.)

>You shall forever be Ritsuka’s little brother.
He will grumble a little at being the younger in the pair but there are far worse things to be at the end of the day.

Had some thoughts about the twili but given I'm basing mainland hyrule off of a mix of Proper zelda hyrule and imperial china. Maybe I could throw in some japanese elements for the twili? Have them have a bunch of different clans all sworn to one leader. Who probably in turn swears fealty to the empress. But basically, being a bunch of smaller different states in the greater twilight realm.

Might use the idea for my own writings. Mind you, my jumper would be getting golden hair and pointed ears from Heart Container use, well before cultivation would start to have an effect.

No problem go ahead. It coming from heart containers could very well happen as well. Might do blonde venti sometime later on as a side look even if its not his main hair color.
As a aside on the mention of heart containers have a little interaction I kinda left out I imagine happened sometime later.
Ritsuka: So how many heart containers have you used anyway?
Venti: Was I supposed to be counting?
Ritsuka: Yeah? Those things can be transformative to you know?
Venti: Uh... well lets see... one every few months for the last six years and then the few I made to prepare for the mountain training... Uh 27?

Yeah, reducing the number would make sense. Maybe it also takes more Heart Containers to have an effect in general, so Ritsuka needed something like fifteen for her tail to fully come in.

Yeah just trying to decide what'd be better for vaati being some fallen cultivator of the sect. A very shameful spot of history that returns after being sealed somehow or similar but their fall is in the current day, or a more traditional demon or maybe even there just a wind cultivator from the outside world thats causing havoc in a section of hyrule.

The sad thing is that I already have, the doc has grown since the last update and the reason why I could pull a new one out relatively fast is that there's already a bunch of new stuff including more companions ready to go after I fluff a few more perks and one more companion. Rolled up newspaper where?

It feels like the time would've been better spent actually making progress on Patriarchy though; but maledom is simply natural, not as fantastical, and thus has less of a clear path toward over the top degeneracy.

Definitely not going anywhere near the /tg/ drive with this nonsense, though honestly a good chunk of the jump is likely going to be things that the left complains about being portrayed favorably.

Something for turning rebellious women into obedient housewives would definitely be present for instance.

>Still, what Manhwa got you in the mood for Portal invasions?
Oh, I made my own system because I decided it would probably be easier to build out a story with a central setting rather than jumping from place to place. That's so far been pretty engaging, with new settings linking to Earth over time. Since you still can't post PDF's over here I'll just link that stuff from my drive in case you or anyone else end up halfway interested or need a reference.

Hope so as well. I got my eyes on a nice 1080 p one, but the 1440p one is only 20 bucks more, however it lacks as broad support as the other has, in the form V-synch from both gpu brands that prevents screen tearing.

So this scene is a bit rough. A bit of world building about the magic system.

1 AM

The lone figure in this corner of the library stifles a yawn. They're companion having retired for the night hours ago. But still a particular bard lingered.

He rubs his eyes leaning over to look at the large tome of blank pages, Midna had gifted him once he'd finally mastered the dreamblood imbibement. Thumbing the singular page at the beginning that had anything on it. Notes for a spell and its construction sketched in its top half.
It was truthfully a immensely simple thing just manifesting a small ball of light.
Not really that useful at all. But it was getting to it that was important... crafting, and casting the spell successfully. If he could manage that... it'd open up a world of possibilities.

Venti sighs as he looks down at paper. Trying to commit every aspect of the construct in his mind. "Maybe I should have master Citali check my work again... no she said it was fine. And I haven't changed it since then." He thinks to himself frowning. Just a touch frustrated at how long this was taking. It'd been months since he had finally moved on from moving and drawing in mana to actual magic. And still he'd yet to actually manage to cast anything at all. Maybe he was doing something wrong. Maybe he just wasn't cut out for-

"No..." He shakes his head best not to linger on such treacherous thoughts. Every technique regardless of path for him had taken months. This was no different. He just had to... keep at it. Being up so late admittedly probably wasn't helping either. He glances down at the empty cup at the tables side. Wishing he had brought more coffee. Perhaps the Cafeteria still had some made by the night staff.
One more attempt and then he'll go and check, Venti decides.

He closes his eyes. Visualizing that light in his mind. He draws in the mana left in the air from previous attempts. Bit by bit, minute by minute he builds that light in his mind how it glimmers, its color, shape. Every aspect curated like a model ship. The world around seeming to fade away from lack of attention.
Slowly the bard pours mana into that construct that strange, miraculous substance... or perhaps it was energy? It defied a easy explanation to venti. Born at least partially from ones own soul on contact with the material world. Each person's was unique marked by the one who generated it. And with such a deep connection with its maker. It was pliable to their will. The manipulation of it the basis for all magic... well all magic for mind cultivators anyway. But that hardly mattered now... no all that mattered in this moment was the light in his mind. Slowly after a eternity of intense focus and pouring mana into this spell venti realizes to his own surprise he'd seemed to reach the end.
He'd never gotten this far before. How'd... no he couldn't lose focus here. he just needed to release it. Let go of the spell construct and let it... materialize in reality.
His breath held with hope... and apprehension he holds out a hand. Releasing the spell as he feels the mana so tightly held in his chest finally flow out and then... nothing. Just the relief of the intense focus he had to keep no longer held.
Words fail to find there mark once again fort he musician, when he opens his eyes. Gazing upon the small ball of white light floating over his the table.
It was such a small thing in a realm of wonders and miracles, A utter nothing in the grand scheme of things. But the way he looked at it and its shimmering glow. He may as well of held the sun itself in his hands.

I Dream of Five Dimensions
400 CP, discounted Drop-In
After discovering a magical lamp in an old bargain bin sale, you unleashed a cute blonde girl in
a pink bellydancer outfit who looks suspiciously similar to a certain American TV series she will
deny copying her lower dimensional look from at all times. You’re now saddled with a clingy,
sweet woman who describes herself as a genie from the 5th Dimension (and sometimes alludes
to a much more ill-fated friend she knows who may or may not be on Damian’s Teen Titans

team depending on which continuity you’re in, so she says) with phenomenal mystical powers,
reality warping powers and powers that make you question whether or not you’re actually living
in some sort of animated universe where everything revolves around gags. Sometimes she
does get awfully serious when warning you about a particularly important cosmic event or
mystical mishap, but by and large she seems happy enough to brighten up your day and hit on
you like only an embarrassingly peppy young woman can.
From the few glimpses you’ve had of her true form, it seems to be red-eyed and green.

Fucking opened up some incense to find some lit and was confused asking vague people about it, only for one to chime in informing claiming it was some weird effect that specifically happened to grave goods that aren't used in a long time, another to mention that it also specifically happens to stadium cushions and that they were called loyalty cushions because they'd follow their owners into the afterlife, then a third talking about the difficulties in selectively breeding cushions so they wouldn't spontaneously catch fire.

Then my dream switched to someone being incredibly snooty about his autism diagnoses and claiming that the most intelligent people come from the kinds of autism that are the least understood and I got so pissed off at his voice that I woke up

Indeed it is. Persistence is gold in that business. Venti knows that well enough by now but it does still get frustrating. Doubly so when he's one of the few remaining novices of his year still in the first stage.

>Worse yet, Ritsuka is still going to get you out of bed at the usual time.
Heh I narrowly avoided putting something at the end along those lines honestly. but I felt it ended stronger on a hopeful note.

>Another step forward, and the one the whole stage builds towards. One can’t help but imagine Venti stayed up for a while longer, to cast a spell again.
It's basically the highlight of the whole stage for divine delusion. Sure Dreamblood carving makes it practical to cast spells on a regular basis and make it actual solution for things but actually being able cast magic at all. To take that step into the impossible is a much bigger one on a conceptual level. It's nice to highlight this initial difficulty though. Especially when magic becomes so effortless comparatively in later stages. Or hell even just in the second stage itself.

And he honestly probably does. He's already gonna be dead on his feet tomorrow anyway. He can stay up another hour or two to cast the spell again. Just to make sure he got it and the process right. He'll happily take that trade in sleep time.

Goblin Slayer has the Silver Class perk which lets you have equivalent abilities/experience to silver or gold rank adventurers in future worlds.

Assuming I take this to a DnD jump, what level do you think that would put you in, in a Class you selected?
Does level 10 for Silver and level 15 for gold sound about Right?
>Silver Class- 600
>Not so humble anymore. You’ve gotten the years of training and experience to become a Silver Class adventurer, the third highest rank. This means you’re a veteran now, probably with at least a decade or more’s experience depending on your rank. You’re a lot stronger, faster and tougher now and your class skills and abilities are much more advanced. You could take on a few packs of weaker monsters one after the after and come out unscathed or even fight and kill a champion class monster if you’re careful. If you’re a spell caster or priest of some sort, you’ll probably know at least two dozen different spells and be able to use magic up to 6 times a day.
>As a Silver Class, you get quite a lot of respect from normal folks and just flashing your badge is enough to get preferential treatment in many stores. Everyone likes a hero. In future worlds, you’ll find yourself beginning with a similar level of experience and talent in new primary professions. If you buy this as a Goblin, you may also pick a Class to have training in.
>For an additional, undiscounted 200CP, you may instead opt to become a Gold Class adventurer.
>These exceptional people are the sort that can lead battles against demon lords and come out victorious, should they have a good team on their level. As a Gold Class, you’re clearly well beyond any Silver Class. A Gold Warrior could chop champions in half with little effort and a Gold Wizard could cast two dozen spells a day, each one destroying small groups of monsters on their own.

Sounds about right. The several minutes to hours it takes to cast a single spell does hamper things a bit for technique 4. Technique 5 from the description made it sound like a mental technique with it mentioning boosting recall speed and calculations for factors you already know. And applying those methods to ones spellcasting. I could definitely see going over the process and honing skills to be a part of it though.

Oftentimes writefags are disjointed with the actual chain. I make them when I see potential in a Jump summary I did and get an idea for a scene or a short story at a certain point in the chain. It helps me appreciate jumps after I’ve finished doing them and gives me enough freedom to make things more fun.

I don’t writefag for Jumpchain much in general, though. Mostly just 1-5 paragraph summaries of how things went after I made my build. I focus my writing efforts someplace else already, in a more important area, so I don’t tend to spend my leisure time writing much.

Tragically I have to come in and say that sounds…hauntingly familiar. I can’t pinpoint when or where and I probably shouldn’t comb through my collection of LB7 (NA) screencaps at the office, but the general idea sounds like I’ve heard it from somewhere.

You’re not wrong about Dino Shiki’s regret though, that’s the whole point of their relationship in the story. I think the confusion stems in part from LB7, Xquic, and Nasu himself having different things to say about the battle. Xquic says the Ka’an used airships similar to the Storm Border to fight ORT, later it’s established they and the Elementals/spirits of LB7 sacrificed themselves to empower Camazotz, it’s not clear if this is a consequence of LB7’s rewrite or if there was a conventional battle and they an hero’d when they realised it wasn’t working well. Nasu also said Camazotz used a spear, he clearly has a scythe in the game.

TLDR I’m 90% sure that’s bullshit but I have a remaining 10% doubt it might’ve come up somewhere.

Also. The following information makes my head hurt but is ALSO technically something it is feasibly to do with my Witch on the Holy Night jump given enough preptime because Nasu has gone mad with power. I present for reference: UNBEAST Servant U-Olga’s skills.

>Territory Creation A: The ability to create an area that is advantageous to oneself as a magus. She can create an Oval Office adjusted to her current size. So, she would never have her horns get stuck in walls or have them damage the ceiling because of her tall heels. This is a bit of a digression, but the Storm Border model displayed on her cabinet when she was Grand Marie is actually 1:1 in scale.

>Item Construction (B Rank): The creation of tools tinged with magic energy. She might not look it, but the president is very good with her hands. Unfortunately, her endurance and concentration skills aren't fully developed, so she can't work for longer periods.

>Divinity (EX Rank): Her Divinity as the Alien God. It is unknown by what circumstances she became perceived as a god by mankind

>Independent Manifestation (— Rank): A skill that allows one to manifest in the world without outside help. All Beasts must possess this skill, but Olga has lost it after the summoning accident that led to her manifesting in Chaldea.

>Defender of Humanity (EX Rank): A temporary privilege gained by protecting Proper Human History from outside threats. It applies Guts when fighting a Threat to Humanity.

>Backlight (EX Rank): No information available.

>Ultra-Manifest (EX Rank): The ability to control space, said to almost be at the level of a Reality Marble. It can rewrite the cosmos so that everything becomes in Olga Marie's favor, even if only for a few seconds.

>Atomic Plant (B Rank): The Magic Circuits of the President of Earth have the same magical energy production as that of a magical energy reactor. If Olga gets just a bit serious about running magical energy through her circuits, then her magical energy will immediately charge to the maximum of her Saint Graph. That said, she almost goes critical doing so, causing great damage to herself and her surroundings. She can't pull off minute adjustments such as replenishing herself just a little.

>Ultimate - U (EX Rank): The secret of the Astromancy family of Animusphere, constellation manipulation. Ideal Magecraft that uses the cosmic maps created by mankind as a Magic Circuit. Kirschtaria Wodime performed the meteorite-summoning Planetary Roar (interference with the past included), while Olga Marie performed the Planetary Aeon to strengthen her own Fortuity, becoming a supreme existence, whose appearance, speech and conduct do not contain a single flaw. And it's not just her; everything included in that statement is protected and assisted by the stars of heaven.

TLDR the best wish you can make with the Holy Grail really is just a big fucking pile of money as long as you know how to invest it.

Keep in mind that Marisbury's plan is the realization of his clan 3000 years aspirations. Basically the same as Goetia, even if they started less powerful.

Basically any magus with unlimited time and resources can reshape the world. It's just that the world already moving from their craft, that there are monsters on that level around that will smack those that get to try close and that magi can just die from in-fighting or other causes (as they are still human). We have known that for quite some time, like it's the basic plot of F/SN already that the world can end with a badly planned ritual that has only been going on for the last 250 years or so.

Spend a few years building the magecraft equivalent of the Large Hadron Collider.
Voila, you now have everything you need to reshape the cosmos in your image after roughly 1-3 working years (your filler may vary) using the Animusphere family magecraft as a reference.

We knew that since LB5. But magecraft was already taping into things like unlimited energy and destroying the world in F/SN. Yes, those were true magics, but accessed through magecraft.

Venti tries not to grin at that, Still statue still.
"I thought meditation was part of the god-body scripture to?" He asks not opening his eyes.
Ritsuka just groans but nods.
"Okay yes but at least I know what the purpose for the meditation is and what it does... We're kina getting close to the point your gonna have to start doing that to by the way, but this isn't the god body kind."
She reaches down and pokes venti on the head Drumming her fingers against his skull. Still perched on his shoulders where she'd been since they started meditating.
"What are you even trying to do here is this a divine delusion thing?" She wonders.
"No its not anything with magic its the other one. The compass. I'm... well its hard to explain but basically I'm trying to carve channels in my soul so that it can draw in energy."
He explains shaking his head, causing Ritsuka only to cling more tightly to the less advanced cultivator.

"That... is that safe? Healthy?" She asks frowning a bit from her perch.
"I think so yeah." Venti nods. "As long as you do it properly anyway. I don't think it would of been taught here if it wasn't."
"Eh thats a fair I guess." His sister nods still sounding a bit bored, tugging at one of his pointy ears. Staring up at the faultless blue sky above them on the mountaintop.
"Can I ask a dumb question?" She finally asks tone thoughtful after a few minutes.
"Sure."
"Why are you cultivating the soul scripture anyway? You don't seem to enjoy it much like god-body or even divine delusion. Seems like your just giving a big chunk of your time to something that'd be more useful

Atop him Ritsuka raises a eyebrow. "Do it right?"
"Yeah like... they say the ideal cultivator is someone who cultivates all three aspects right? It was already a big change coming here.. Well ending up in this world at all was massive. But If I'm going to do this. I'd prefer to do it right. And not miss out on something because it takes longer, I've missed out on a lot already in my past life. I don't want to do the same for my new one. Perhaps that's silly but I wish to see it all out fully. Even if I'm just... me and I have no great talent for it. I want to try."

"Oh..." She grows quiet again and nods. "Well I think... I can get that."
Silence emerges between the two of them as morning sun shines down. Several minutes pass Before ritsuka adds.
"Well...I'm glad you came to our world. Even if you were some alien human. You're one of us now. My brother." She reaches down and hugs the top of venti's head as if to demonstrate her point.
Venti just sighs contently and grins again. "Yeah... thank you. I like being your brother."

"Hell yeah you do." The monkey woman beams before venti finally goes back to meditating.

Perhaps a bit. Venti's in a bit of a odd spot with soul compass stage 1. He does have a affinity for air and a little bit of water but he hasn't discovered it yet. It's all just solely soul based. So without a truly good teacher (Well tutor at the moment) for it like Ritsuka. He's not resonating so well with it right now.

I was rolling with the idea a bit he hadn't. Though he's getting really close to that point. Thats why Ritsuka mentioned he's gonna have to start meditating the god body style soon. Which was essentially just the vessel reforged. But given ventis been at the sect for about 9 years now and had martial arts training, plus the heart containers. I can see a scene where Venti/You have been drawing in Elemental Essence and it’s been like drawing water out of a well and carrying it to a tank, but then you try to draw in Air Essence and it’s like water running downhill, just give it a tug and it all flows right into you with no effort. Oh I do like that metaphor. It just feels right... natural to him with air. Waters a little harder but still fairly doable. And the other elements probably are gonna need some work. Like trying to dig into a reservoir and tap it for water.
I also have another idea for late stage 1 magic training that doubles as training for Ritsuka where he basically has to keep some ribbon or flag away from her by any means necessary. Body wise he gets outmatched completely, Soul compass still wouldn't have anything relevant, so he'd have to rely mostly on magic and clever uses of it to try and keep away.

Teleportation and illusions. If Ritsuka wants to catch you and the flag you’re holding, she first has to find the real you among all the fakes that shatter when she grabs them. And then when she thinks she’s won, it turns out that the Venti she grabbed was another fake, just one with substance and that doesn’t break on contact.

Yeah I'm just thinking a bit. Perhaps their is larger cycle of people getting isekaid to this world a bit. The barrier between it and "Earth" being weak for some reason.
Usually they'd just die quick but in some rare occasions they survive like with hylia because of the the goddesses. but since the founding of hyrule those that landed in hyrule have tended to survive.
It also paints a bit more of a parallel between Venti and hylia. Would make her immensely more relatable to him in a way. Though now I'm wondering just how old Hyrule probably is. Probably at least a few million years.

At the very least, I could see Hylia’s arrival as being several million years in the past.

… Talking of which, I just had a rather odd thought of my own. One of my Generic Xianxia build ideas had me arriving in cultivation land and becoming the very first person to cultivate the Triune Scriptures, receiving lessons from the three Oracles in the process. And of course, my jumper would be a Zelda, and I do have that old chain where I was Hylia. Fair I could see that. Hyrule gets much more out of isekai'd or reincarnators then the outside world probably so I could see the trio pulling metaphysical strings so they tend to wind up in hyrule.

>At the very least, I could see Hylia’s arrival as being several million years in the past.
Yeah, If it takes at least a 100,000 years to reach up to the seventh realm. And hylias well beyond that probably a greater deity at this point. I could see it being that long. Enough time that Zelda the Seconds been on the throne herself for longer then most non deities can remember. Still need to think of a reason for Hylia not to rule directly after becoming a goddess a bit. Perhaps its just expected as a god to not have such a direct hand in politics.

Maybe she felt she’d done enough and was ready to let her daughter step up and take her place. Besides, the Empress spent thousands of years learning how to lead from Hylia and she always keeps an avatar at the court, so there’s not much of a difference in being ruled by one or the other.

By then you’d likely have been ruling for hundreds of thousands of years and watched your lands grow from a frontier province to a major center of power in the heartlands of Hyrule. Yeah got to give respect/due to the people that got you where you are. Even if your stronger then them now. Hell maybe thts a cultural trait in hyrule. Not giving heed or respect to elders, mentors and so on even if you've surpassed them since then mortal or immortal would be seen as highly disrespectful.

Honestly this is true. Eventually he might feel it time to move on. He'd probably have a good heir eventually. Also I think I might go with Talfein as the name of the kingom. The realm of sacred winds it'd eventually come to be called.
For the average mortal I imagine the line between powerful Immortals and gods can get pretty thin if they don't know better. Though that's probably rather heretical.

Though a rather comedic and probably non canon interaction just popped in my head now.

Nyanko did say that if you combine the universe creation of Divine Delusion with the world cell splitting of God Body, you could turn the world cells into universe cells and become an infinitely expanding, living multiverse, so maybe Hylia has one universe where all the gods can send an avatar and interact with each other.

That would work and might be a decent fallback but it is still part of Hylia. The godly realm itself can't be hylia I think can it?
Theirs got to be something there if gods exist there physically after all.
Perhaps it is a multiverse and its the space between realms triune deities ascend to.

Thinking about it perhaps Venti leaving the world to go to others, and experiencing that other universes end would work better as a lesser deity rather then peak stage 6. It gives him somewhere to go and the immediate aftermath. Some new deity exploring there place in the greater multiverse a bit along with companions.

I'm imagining in my mind it was... difficult even beyond just being the first cultivator. A world without a hyrule. Left to cultivate with only really the goddesses or their oracles for guidance. She'd have to deal with xianxia society proper straight on. I can only guess what sort of things shaped her and the trials Hylias been through. I imagine a lot of things in hyrule were made, or set up the way they are from the country to the sects to minimize and avoid the evils she saw. A sort of "I suffered, but By the Gods I wont let people suffer like that if I can help it" sort of approach.

Thanks ChatCBT but my main objection is to the use of "on" there. Why not "Attacking Giants" or the more literal "Advancing Giants" or "Charging Giants"? Or Titans if you must, but that's another bad translation. In Japanese they're referred to as Kyojin which is generally translated as Giant and they're descended from Ymir which is also the name of a giant from Norse myth.

[Persona 5 redux]

It had been a productive year. I'd found my friend Igor's place ransacked, immediately bodied the other demiurge responsible for it, and forced him into becoming an extra Persona before proceeding to basically do what he wanted anyway. Yaldabaoth had been mildly surprised I was willing to share power with the rest of the Phantom Thieves but as I pointed out, no good deep state was complete without a cabal of nepotistic cronies on a power trip. That power trip just happened to be forcibly slashing legal working hours to France-like levels, paying off the national debt (by stealing the hearts of creditors) and creating new job opportunities (while also simultaneously stealing the hearts of Tokuryū ringleaders). Ironically Yaldabaoth turned out to have a mysterious power useful for reversing the declining birthrate. He was extremely vague about why.

Really apart from the run-in with...Azathoth, yep Azathoth and nothing else and I sealed all knowledge of that shit harder than Gwyn sealed the true origin of humanity, things were looking up. Soon, this world too would fall under my tyrannical and despotic influence.

Until that is, the day we all went on holiday only to find ourselves stranded in some kind of metaphorical astral realm of a guy having an emotional breakdown.

"Ryuji. Status?" I demanded.

"We're all nerfed, dude!" he complained. "Yeah, I've forgotten how to attack!" complained Futaba. "Well that's completely unacceptable. I'll have to use the real power of nepotism! Satanael, lend me your power!" I declared.

Satanael, who somehow looked kind of miffed about being on the side of totalitarianism despite being a metallic archangel thing, proceeded to give all my teammates back their hard-earned powerups. We proceeded to soundly thrash the...the annoying pink thing that really wanted to get married to a sad little politician named Toshiro Kasukabe.

"OW, OW, OW, STOP HITTING ME YOU FUCKS, I NEED THAT SUGAR DADDY TO KNOW HIS FUCKING PLACE OW, OW FUCK YOU" the obvious midboss character was yelling under a fully levelled Phantom Thief crew beat up. "What's the point?" mumbled Toshiro, who my long experience with the strong anthropic principle pinpointed as the crux of this so-called kingdom, "I'm pushed around by someone like this in real life, I really wanna just like, rebel and stuff but it's useless..."

"And what would that accomplish?" I asked, sensing the equivalent of a Mass Effect dialogue interrupt moment.

"What?"

"Why are you drawing a binary between rebellion and attaining what you want in life? If the problem is that you're being oppressed by external forces, isn't the logical solution to accumulate enough power and independence to obtain leverage over them?"

"But I just want to be free"

"And power is freedom. Say you, I don't know, turn in your abusive father for political corruption. What then? Do you really think you'll get away scott free? Do you really think a man that powerful wouldn't get revenge on you for ruining him? Being, and I'm just being hypothetical here, some kind of catspaw in a political game can be frustrating. But it's also an opportunity to take action against those controlling yours. Trust me. True freedom is getting enough dirt on everyone who wronged you so they can never take yours"

These statements made Toshiro think hard about his life, just as planned. While Elodie was chatting up what was clearly a personification of his childhood hopes and dreams, I was doing actively productive things like demolishing the other tulpas controlling this reality. We fought a green Buddha (who was actually a red asura), refused to fall for an obvious bluff and ended up facing a Shadow Toshiro.

"Your attempts to do good will only bring harm to others!" declared Shadow Toshiro.

"You're right. And that's GREAT" said Toshiro.

"...what?" said shadow Toshiro, who was kind of expecting more of a fight. "After talking to that masked boy and how he's ironically changing Japan more than he ever could as some kind of rebel without a cause by instead becoming the secret cabal behind it's political machinations, I've embraced the reality that the strong must eat the weak-or be torn apart in turn for the crime of being delicious!" shouted Toshiro, preparing to unleash his Persona. Which was NOT Che Guevara after my peptalk.

"HOLD IT!" shouted Elodie, ducking in, "the reality that your actions may cause harm to others doesn't eliminate the validity of the effort to mitigate them having meaning in itself! Walk the path you must, but don't get lost in the sauce! There is a middle ground involving not rejecting the career laid out for you, but also using your life experiences to inform your moral decisions going forward!"
"Excuse me, we're in the middle of something!" exclaimed Shadow Toshiro.

"She's not wrong, Tosh" I interrupted. "I'm all for going full 1984, but I honestly don't care enough about your personal life decisions to bother here when order is being enforced one way or another. The only question is to what degree"

"Also why not just have a fling with your childhood friend if you're trapped in a loveless marriage?" added the childhood wonder tulpa. "You're rich, she's single and crippled, and it's been years. Do the math, buddy"

"...huh yeah, I never thought of it like that"

"AHEM" coughed Shadow Toshiro. "Are we FIGHTING or-" "Why? I've got better things to do. C'mon guys, let's get out of here" said Toshiro.

Shadow Toshiro yelled impotently for us to get back here and fight him while Toshiro awakened Theodore Roosevelt as his Persona. As the Kingdom started collapsing, he suddenly wondered how he was actually going to fix all the problems in his life. I decided to start by teaching him the Pimp's Prayer.

Back in the real world, Toshiro proceeded to follow through on his arranged marriage. However, on his wedding night he brandished his Persona and the power of the Pimp's Prayer as his wife prepared to unleash her bitching powers on him. "Let us pray the Pimp's Prayer" he intoned, raising his slapping hand to imbue it with the power of Teddy preparing to recite a speech after being shot. "Lord, please pray for the soul of this bitch and guide my pimp hand and make it strong, Lord, so that she might learn a hoe's place. Amen."

And then he proceeded to spank her ass so hard that she not only never defied him again, but turned into a submissive masochist in private. In a few more weeks once he'd made the proper connections with my cabal, he'd obtained enough dirt on his father to blackmail him into grovelling subservience.

"And so, the forces of fascism and corporate uniformity save the day again" said Elodie wryly as we watched Prime Minister/new cabal member Toshiro and his crippled childhood friend open a paralympics-like tournament for the elderly and injured of Japan to find some small happiness in, all the while eye-fucking each other with such intensity that his bitch wife cried and masturbated to it from her cuck chair offstage.

"Elodie, I'm offended" I said severely. "I'm sorry, Anon" said Elodie, rolling her eyes. "I am FAR more totalitarian than any mere fascist"

"Greetings" said a random god of stagnation, suddenly popping into existence. "I just wanted to say you're doing a fantastic job and I really admire your work!"

...

"Anon, who's this?"

"I'm assuming he's the secret mastermind to whatever just happened but I've never met this fellow in my life. Seems like a nice, helpful guy though"

"Do you need any help eliminating the suffering of the masses? Be careful, revolution IS a blade!"

"My boy is giving Nintendo precognitive software they'll install on every Switch 2, we're good dude"

I mean, if you go by the original DBZ, he only needed to train for three threats in his entire life. Supposedly nothing big happened after that.

So him stopping training after Cell made a lot of sense because they couldn't expect that an ancient evil that was stronger than anything that they had faced before would show up. And nobody on Earth could really stand up to him besides maybe Vegeta. So, why bother training when he could go to college, goof around as a hero and fuck a cutie?

Super has to drag things from outside of the universe to be a threat to the Z warriors.
