I’m thinking about MtG more because of the new Duskmourn jump. And I feel like it’s a trap because the more I think about MtG, the more stupid everyone and everything in it is. Like look at Thunder Junction. It is apparently a trade hub with no resources or geographical advantage, and yet despite being some shitty desert it’s a vital junction to a bunch of places just because. Why isn’t that Ravnica, the new centre of the multiverse? Just because Omenpaths lead there more often? Why? Is it literally just Niv-Mizzet propaganda?

And speaking of Omenpaths, as a replacement to the Planeswalker spark they are really, really shit. Supposedly they just open and close at random (unless you’re a bullshit mage who can see the order inherent in chaos) except when they don’t, and for NO REASON they presumably all have little stopovers at Thunder Junction instead of leading directly to another plane? Also why the FUCK is the Aetherspark considered a vanity prize instead of a goddamn superweapon par excellence? Has everyone just forgotten the raw power of a Planeswalker even once diminished to NuWalker levels, and how they were all used as fuel for the Elderspell? Do people just not address the risk of Omenpaths closing and thus stranded in some horrible interdimensional space? The entire setting has been hit by multiple apocalyptic events recently and this random group is just waving around the basic means to reignite one like a fucking Cartier diamond. What is wrong with these people? Why did the goblin turn on the stove?

The best thing I can say about MtG as a setting is that it’s very easy to feel intelligent in it when everyone constantly acts pants on head retarded.

If offered as a companion, it'd be an unusually intelligent specimen, and it'd have... interesting implications for the setting, since they're created by a series of events that Jumper is capable of preventing.
Also, she's technically a nugget, since the slime-arms are disconnected from the main body and the legs are cybernetic

They don't know if it'll just fling you into the Blind Eternities and kill you, it might flay the flesh off your bones like the Planar Bridge did, it might allow you to planeswalk exactly once with no return ticket then clatter to the ground, and they're not exactly eager to test it because it might be lost forever if they do so. They definitely can since drunken master is a pretty common archetype that carries over from wuxia and lower end martial arts works. The real question is whether they're drinking normal booze or they have to make equally ridiculous elixir-worthy moonshine in order to keep up with their body's improved constitution. And even that's questionable since poison seems to be one of the few things that can consistently harm cultivators so long as it's generated/synthesized by someone in roughly the same realm of power even if still notably less powerful otherwise.

Magic Flow from Shield Hero -> Spend mana to improve any action without upper limit

If you have a source of endless mana, pick up the Mana Shield spell from Diablo 1, which converts damage into mana drain.

Well, with that setup you do run into physical limitations. The alchemical process from MoM spits out mana in crystal form, and while I imagine you can simply absorb the crystals to fill your mana pool that pool's size doesn't change. Moreover it's one mana point per crystal so you'll quickly hit a limit on how much you can carry. You'd be better off just making or buying Diablo mana potions.

So I've begun replaying Breath of the wild for potential inspiration for the journey. And I'm experiencing the small joy a bit of realizing I can just write whatever that can spring in my imagination with some work. So have a mini scene.

"So how does that look to you?" The rambling voice of the shopkeeper asks.
"Well...it seems fines to me. I'm not really a fashion guru though."
Venti looks in the mirror. Raising a arm out from the new cloak he was considering. He was long overdue for getting new clothes that actually fit him. Most of his old ones were thread bare things now from use with the ends cut to fit him, and Midna had insisted he get new clothes while they were preparing for their journey.
"Is this too nice to wear on the road?" He wonders out loud looking at the clothes he was considering.

"No no! Of course not, I wouldn't be selling it if it was. This isn't some nobles shop dear."
The Seamstress tuts shaking her head. "
It should be just fine but even if it does look nice that's a bonus. You have to look your best if you want to apply for the sect after all." The shopkeeper says from behind the counter.

"You're a traveler, right? The tailor asks looking at them oddly.
"The only reason folk pass through our little town most of the time is on the way to try and join the sect, three bless them."

"Hmm..." Venti hums. "Well maybe I'll ask about him if I get up there? Maybe I could help somehow? It's a shame he's upset if it's cultivations not for everyone. How much do I owe you for the clothes?"

"I don't think there's much you can do traveler but sure, but I appreciate the thought. It'll be 500 rupees for all the clothes you've picked out."
Venti winces, that was a pretty penny alright. He could afford it thankfully due to savings but danm..

He turns his wallet over and lets out a cascade of red rupees fall out. Stopping at exactly 500 worth of them. Thankfully he enchanted the bag a few years ago for a joke of paying exactly in green rupees for a purchase and the magic of making sure only the exact amount wanted to fall out still stuck to it.

"Here you go Ma'am. I'll make sure to ask about your Jin to" He says pushing the pile of gems towards her.
He reaches down and picks up the bag holding the rest of his chosen clothes, giving her a smile before he's gone. Leaving a surprised shopkeeper counting out her money.

I know its probably pretty mild as far as Imagination going wild but it doesn't always need to be that crazy. Might do a bit where there decorating the shared house to but that might be to mundane.

Yeah, the cultivation marks haven't really appeared fully on him outwardly beyond just appearing Hylian so far. And no ones gonna be able to tell he was originally human at this point.
He's actually gonna help her son get into the sect after talking with them and checking back up the mountain before he leaves. (If he can pass the sniff test from venti at least.) A little side quest offscreen before the journey.

Also Venti probably wasn’t expecting anyone living near a sect to try and overcharge people. Dream Eye might have revealed the truth, but he isn’t keeping it active all the time. Though if you do get her son in, it’s going to be an awkward moment for her.

It’s a big part of why Hyrule is able to grow. The Triune Scriptures may be slower to cultivate, but average cultivators in Hyrule can grow much more easily, so while Hyrule doesn’t have more geniuses they do have unusually strong average cultivators.

Honestly, I would've rather started with Fate/Stay Night so I could pick up Rin Tohsaka. But I'm frankly not confident that I could deal with all of the conceptual bullshit from Hercules, Cu, and Gilgamesh on my first Jump. My next pick would've been Tsukihime for Akiha. But I didn't wanna deal with all of the Dead Apostles and their bullshit immortality on my first run. So I decided to compromise and go for my third favorite tsundere in the Nasuverse: Aoko.
The build I went with is prioritizing survivability above all. Yumina gives me a wolverine tier healing factor that guarantees I'll eventually recover from any physical wound I suffer.
Lore Defenses makes me outright immune to most conventional attacks. The caveat of course being now that I have a lore weakness, which is fine. I'm not gonna try to be a hero.
Reenactment of Mystery and Trump Card give me enough strength to defend myself from most threats in the setting as long as I don't try and pick a fight with any of the top tiers in magus society.
Now back to Aoko. I'm confident that I can convince her to join me. The drawback "Baka" basically guarantees that I'll be in a non sexual BSDM relationship with her for my entire stay in the jump. That gives me 10 years to convince her to join me on a journey across the millions of multiverses. That'll easily woo her to be my companion. Especially since Porcelain Vampire guarantees that I'll look drop dead gorgeous to her.

The Jump offers more than enough to deal with that. You mostly want high magecraft, mana reserves and Black Grail. That way you can pretty much deal with everything quite easily. Even Gilgamesh would be very hard pressed if you shallow the other Servants and also interface with the Grail.

He sighs. Amused even if he was functionally talking to himself.
He adjusts his cloak, stepping out of the house. Well, that was most of the night spent on admittedly fairly minor things. but he'd made most of the core stuff already over the last few months.

It was going to need a lot more work. But he was happy with this place.
It sort of reminded him of home. From what he remembered of it at this point at least. He pauses and looks down. - Oh! that spot on a intersection looked a bit like how he remembered the street, a Mcdonalds in his hometown growing up. That could be a good next project.

The cultivator floats down to begin. Already beginning to plot out the shape for the building, But a familiar voice cuts through all of reality,as it begins to dissolve into something entirely different.
"Wake up! I made breakfast!"
He blinks, blearily orienting himself as he looks around the airy, wooden floored and walled room bedroom, light streaming through the window. to see his sister in the doorway. She had indeed made breakfast. Well dreamscape creating would have to wait until another night to continue.

Things like that one event where venti stumbled upon the end and rebirth of a universe. Maybe a bit about what life was like back then when she first arrived eventually. After the friendship grew enough.
Maybe Ventis own thoughts on her. And why she does what she does from his perspective or what he thinks seeing her actions.
He ultimately does see them as her trying to help a world thats really to cruel and leave something better behind. The universe may be cold and uncaring but he thinks she took it upon herself to change that. or is still trying to change that.

Some of them just dont exist admittedly. They don't have the scriptures in them because the scriptures aren't as exceedingly rare as they are in the original setting. The four sword for example hasn't been created. But it has the potential to. I was considering having Jumper possibly making it honestly. Same with the mask of truth and Hylian shield. Though I imagine without the scripture in it. The shields a fairly standard treasure among warrior cultivators.

Makes sense that some history isn't widely known if the Mask of Truth doesn't exist to allow someone to just see it directly. I took inspiration from Spice & Wolf, actually. You may have seen some works trying to depict an old fashioned way of speaking and it coming out poorly, or as TV Tropes puts it, Ye Olde Butcherede Englishe. As for Spice & Wolf, TV Tropes says it well.

Yeah It wouldn't. I'm essentially just world building here. It'd matter to venti a bit because he cares about her and wants to understand her better and to a lesser degree history in general but for the average citizen it doesn't matter to much.

That'd honestly be a interesting concept. Maybe I could work it into the idea I had a bit. I was planning on them encountering some cultivators from the Region Ventis gonna end up conquering/Ruling eventually as a sorta prelude to things to come. They were gonna find basically a Nahida expy deep within the earth as a life spirit when exploring to. Something scifi deep beneath the earth could be fun. Though I'm not sure how it'd mesh with the world and greater setting. Perhaps it'd work. Ancient aliens potentially?

This is a plot element I'm still slowly ironing out but, I was thinking half the reason the clans doing all these horrible things and intrigue is because there a lot weaker then there Neighbours. And the Clan elder is terrified of the wolves closing in...while being equally as evil if not worse.
I was thinking venti would stumble cross something there so horrible or somethings done that basically enrages him to either join or start the invasion of the region. Or he does something to majorly destabilize things there before it starts because of what happens. Whatever that is. And given he was so instrumental in taking the area. He's given some land after the fact.

For the -5 people who still care about Warcraft lore: Shadowlands has been partially retconned due to Blizzard finally realising what a shitshow it has been. Yeah, the whole Epic kinda revolves around the question of whether its really better to live in a (urbanized and agrarian) society, or to exist as an autonomous individual in the wild. The end conclusion is pretty decisively in the "You loose some stuff to live with others, but what you get is worth it" school of thought, but it takes the time to wax poetic about all the masculine strength and autonomy living in a society requires you to give up.

On the surface the rejection of Ishtar by Gilgamesh is a repudiation of her (and I could go on for a long time about the text and subtext of that), but when you get down to it it's more about Gilgamesh refusing to accept that his fate is to someday die, and that he actually has obligations to his subjects. He wants the benefits of kingship without the costs, and he wants to forever live the ancient frat-bro life with Enkidu. Which, well, isn't how things work. Both Enkidu and less explicitly, but pretty clearly all the same, Gilgamesh learn to accept both the costs that come with living with others, and the benefits of leaving behind a legacy, but it takes till Enkidu's death and for Gilgamesh loosing the flower that would return to him his youth.

[Innistrad redux]

The angel is going mad. She does not realise it. It does not occur to her that butchering the humans is anything but righteous. It is obviously the only thing that can resolve the anomalies plaguing the werewolves, the towns, the moon.

The angel cannot discern her madness because it was in her design to become more powerful as the humanity of her plane veered towards calamity, and now she is the danger. So when she sees me, an outsider, it is jarring for her to process the fact that she does NOT want to kill me. “Stranger, leave immediately” she commands, gore still dripping off her spear. “This is no longer a place of honour”

“This place was never a place of honor” I tell her. “Your creator, Sorin, never intended it as such”.

The angel blinks. “…what heresy is this?”. “The kind that rewrites religions, I’m afraid” I say. In a flash of white mana I show her a vision of genesis, of the megalomaniacal carelessness this world’s planeswalkers are prone to. This shocks the angel so much that she doesn’t even notice the Eldrazi corruption being seared out of her.

“I don’t say this a lot” I ask, after five minutes of the angel crumpled in a sobbing heap, “but do you want a hug?”

“…what?”

“A hug. Do you want a hug?” I repeat, kneeling down. “You have been diligent and selfless. You deserved a better creator”

“The entire faith I preside over is a cruel joke, I was created to farm the mortals I cherish like cattle, and now something worse than any demon bears down on my blame” she says blankly. “I should not have time for a hug, but…I think so, yes”

I hug her.

I also take this opportunity to tell her I am here on this plane hunting monsters like the one about to consume it, and monsters like her maker, and that I am always looking for more help in this endeavour. And thus, the angel Avacyn finds religion.

[Magic the Gathering: Duskmourne - House of Horror redux]

Avacyn watched the other four members of what she had decided to call the Pathwatch gathered at the Ghirapur Grand Prix with varying amounts of unease. She wouldn’t have let Aminatou be there if she hadn’t insisted fate decreed her presence, constantly fretting over the child’s wellbeing despite her apparently being the strongest Planeswalker of her generation Valgavoth, despite his penitence, still reeked of the fear and madness of the plane he had terrorised for millennia. His spawn and nightmarish whims drifted around him like a toxic miasma. The horror that had squirmed it’s way into my soul was quite plainly far worse than Valgavoth simply because having originated on a plane inhabited by demons, dread fae, dragons but no sentient beings with a moral framework more objectively just than that of Grixis before she had subsumed it I had decided she never needed any behavioural correction to begin with.

And the last member of the Pathwatch was literally 10 Bablovian squirrels in a trenchcoat and top hat collectively calling themselves Agent Deeznuts. Avacyn stared in fascinated helplessness at the complex systems of ropes, pulleys and gears that the squirrels within were frantically hauling on to make the automaton shamble around. Amanitou at least was avoiding eye contact with the thing and mouthing the words “just go with it” at her over and over again, but the demons were acting like it was the mysterious but hypercompetent professional it purported to be. Which meant to Avacyn that either she was being pranked with a very longwided bit…or that the squirrels had somehow fooled the demons as seamlessly as it had fooled the ticket greeter, several Ghirapur dignitaries and one of their targets. She took a deep breath.

“We agreed” she said, “the population deserves to know the truth”

“YOU agreed” corrected Shrylariatha, “while the rest of us humoured you”

“She’s right, Avacyn” said Aminatou sadly, making Avacyn round on her with hurtful disappointment. “I can pull the strings of fate, but they grow more and more taut the more attention turns to Jace”

“If I could make a suggestion, the entire point of a team is to share burdens” said Valgavoth earnestly even in the face of Avacyn literally burning with reflexive hostility. “There is a middle ground between mobilising the government and a simple smash and grab. Some of us could provide evidence to the authorities while others deal with this insignificant Beleren mortal, who is clearly no match for any of us. And we can even achieve some other objectives along the way! I have a, erm, man named Winter posted here. We will spin a cocoon of intrigue, and choke the very mana from him with it!” he cackled, then added “in a civilised way, for the greater good”

And thus, the plan by and large went off without a hitch. Winter was very surprised to learn that the demon that had blackmailed him suddenly was providing both apologies, goodwill blessings for his success, and a free ride home for the little creature that had been conscripted into the race with him-while the rulers of Ghirapur were very surprised to have aristocratic squirrels come up through the woodwork and give them confidential information about interplanar espionage. While this was all going on, Winter was enjoying Pocoloco-like luck at the expense of every other racer. He easily won the race.

“Jace Beleren” said Avacyn, plummeting from on high and landing like a Marvel superhero, “I would have words with you”

“Oh, hell. Is this about something I did while compleated?” asked the mind mage, frantically trying to buy time. “No, Jace. It is about what you intend to do in the near future”

“Jace! If we can’t summon reinforcements, we have to banish the archangel immediately!” warned Vraska. Fighting her own first response, Avacyn slowly raised one hand, spear in the ground. “I know what you haven’t told your companions. Not even the one here. You are NOT prepared to fix the multiverse” she warned him.

Avacyn hesitated. In that moment a crushing blast of psychic energy struck her mind. She grit her teeth and focused through it. “I think that even if your plan worked, it is not right to cut off entire events-risk entire LIVES being unborn-in service of a past you never lived through. I think that if this plan really matters that much Jace, you need to discuss it in a public forum. Yours is not the only pain in the multiverse”

Suddenly she swung her spear through Jace and Vraska’s flickering images. “And I think that is a very convincing illusion”

“I’m sorry. We left the plane half a minute ago. This HAS to be done” echoed Jace’s voice from elsewhere. “As does this” said Avacyn, disappointed. “I don’t have to touch your flesh to work my magic on you, Beleren. By my wrath, you shall be as shining beacons to your foes and felons to your allies. The weight of my gaze will exhaust you, and find you wherever you go. When we next meet, I hope you’ll reconsider”

Saddening, actually. I am very bitter that Bant, the most White of the planes, lost with comical ease when faced with real warfare conditions. I have already won a White Mana campaign using the Phyrexian strategy so I am in less of a rush to conquer all timelines and possibilities now that if I want, I can simply affirm my previous victory across all of time and space. In practice, Solars’ theme of “me da bess”, Infernals’ theme of “whatever lives rent free in a Yozi’s head enough, and eventually my own core tenets” and Abyssals’ theme of “being a living weapon of Oblivion/the Neverborn” have been pretty flexible for most endeavours. Really the themes seem to be the flexible but ever-present limit, since for example-Abyssals can’t make Holy Charms. They can ACCESS Solar Charms with that one redemptive Charm. But they cannot make Charms that evoke darkness and blood and cold and Oblivion that are as inherently Holy as a Solar’s native charmset. Just as Solars, for all their power, are worse at necromancy than Abyssals.

At best, you can detect killing intent in the split second before an attack. There's no scanning for it in a way that totally voids Stealth as a concept no matter how good you are at hiding. It is repeatedly pointed out that the Solars were the greatest contributors to the armies of the Exalted, and to be such they logically had to be able to inflict more damage than a wall can take in order to inflict meaningful harm on a living universe.

Further it provides additional defensive bonuses when fighting the undead lessening damage they are able to inflict with innate attacks and abilities. Lastly it provides a constant moderate level of regeneration.

*Blouse of resilience (Divine Tier Item): This simple white blouse provides incredible defensive powers. First it offers immunity to all temporal based spells and abilities. Second it offers an extreme level of elemental resistance to one of 4 types of elemental damage (Acid, Fire, Ice, and electricity) the type may be changed once every 24 hours. It greatly increases damage resistance and once per day may reduce one attacks damage by half.

The Angelic Warrior specializes in defense and drawing attention of attackers. Due to the way summons work in the new world it will stay until slain. In the Yggdrasil it only lasted for an hour. Only one Angelic warrior may be summoned at a time. Finally when the wearer is below 30% health they may expend all remaining moon phases forcing the ring in to it’s new moon phase. This Immediately activates a moderately powerful Healing ability as well as a mana regeneration ability for 5 minutes as well as casting a powerful debuff cleaning spell upon the wearer.

nta, but that is probably beyond the level of a divine tier item.
Mana Regen is by far the most limited resource in the game with no known items known to circumvent it. As in if you use your mana you have to wait for it to recover at its natural speed, for everything else use limited use abilties like scrolls/wands/saves or racial/class skills that mimic spells.
Increasing mp is possible as we see from the Staff or Ainz Ool Gown, but the effect isn't that great from what we know(Ainz with the Staff has an MP of around 1800, when even a level 100 warrior would have a least 1300). Same for the ring of restoration

I do like hte other effects though. Though worth noting that summons used through divine tier items aren't permanet as we know from the Elementals summoned by the Staff.
but even just a temporary summon that doesen't count against your own summon limi is a really big deal so its good anyway.

that was a consumable cash item, the goblins are supposed to be permanent in the game, ainz mentions that as the one advanage they have rellative to their weakness.
in the jump the closest equivalent would be the mercenary idol.

As for the elemental, we know from hhe narrative that its only temporary.
Also we know that Ainz is a min-maxxer if it was permanent he'd be using the staff every day to slowly accumuate to stock 5 primal elementals a day, like how he makes sure to go through all his uses of create undead every day to not waste them.

Summons in the truest sense aren't permanent, period. Ainz's undead are temporary if he creates them without a body, but they are permanent if he creates them using a body. Ainz is working on an explanation for why this is the case, because even he doesn't understand the underlying mechanics of it (necromancy in yggdrasil did not require or use corpses, I believe).
POP summons (automatic summons assigned to the guild base) appear to be permanent and replace themselves when expended.

Well I am going to let you in on a little bit of the behind the scenes thing on the summons. I kind of have already written a bunch of pages, used the summon to do that so... It may not be the most accurate but it's going to stay. I suppose I could say my jumper used a spell to summon the angel but if I did that my jumper is going to be summoning an army of them every day like Ainz summons undead. like anon said, summons generally arren't permanent. With a spell you usually jus someone one summon(which can consists of one stronger monster or several weaker monsterss) that exist for a set durration, using a summoning spell while the previous one is active dismisses the previous summon. Magic items work in similar ways though they can depending on thet quality potentially break that limit, letting you summon additional monsters, or with really high tier one have multiple summoning spells active at once.
As for the undead its worth mentioning that Ainz doesen't use his undead summon spells to make them, but raher his limited use create undead racial skills.

If you want permanet forces the best option are mercenaries gained through a gild base. in Yggdrasil monsters dropped data crystals upon death which were valuable for a variety of uses including but not limited to creating magic items and for customization purposes. They could also be used to make mercenary books which you can use to summon certain monsters by paying Yggdrasil gold.
The Tomb of Nazarick has a ridicluus amount o mercenary data stored, so muchh that even if they used all of their vast tresury worth of gold, they could only summon less than 1% of the mercenaries they have access to.
Though they can sill run out of specific monster, like Ainz over the course of the story ran out of Hanzo Data, who are powerful ninja monsters he uses for espionage

I'll tell you what I used the summon for. First to protect some people in Carne village while my jumper was off healing people then she sent the summons off with her non-imported companions so her companions could go get training and learn stuff without her having to worry they will run in to someone like Clementine or some other powerful asshole and get slaughtered. She wasn't looking to summon a permanent force or anything, maybe later depending on how things go but so far it just about keeping people safe.

Also! The spaceship Idea keeps lingering in my mind. I'm considering maybe just rolling the fief idea into it. Still have the war and conflict with the Jia but the fief comes instead from the spaceship thats eventually made. I feel it'd be more in line with venti a bit character wise then just being a normal lord/King in hyrule. And if the spaceship will eventually be basically a small realm all its own. I think it could work. Could make Space as in cosmic space and stars a sub theme for him. As they wander the galaxy.

I like The Mercenary Icon, summoning a full on level 90 NPC loyal to yourself once a month is so broke for 100CP.

I strongly recommend reading the light novel over watching the anime if you enjoy the series. The light novel is much, much better. You get a much better understanding of the world and characters in the LN than you do in the anime. Yeah. Hell venti could probably just make the portal himself by that point. But it also can lead to a more organic growth a bit. If it starts as just some small ship to basically store stuff on for exploratory missions near the planet hyrules on. And it slowly gets iterated and refined on over time, growing and transforming until its eventually the massive country/ship it could be.

Okay redid the items and removed the problems how does this look?

(6th level and under) Secondly it reduces the mana cost of spells cast. Third it allows the wearer to convert a small amount of HP in to a much greater amount of MP.

*Ring of Restoration (Divine Tier Item – Ring Slot): This powerful holy ring grants a couple powerful abilities to healers. It greatly enhances the strength of healing spells of the caster. It provides the caster with a constant moderate regeneration ability as well as reducing the cost of healing spells by a substantial amount. Once per hour it can create a zone of 30 feet that grants allies a moderate regeneration ability as well several small bonus in combat for 10 minutes.

Ring of the Moon and the Stars (Divine Tier Item – Ring Slot): This gold ring has an image of the moon among the star. The moon starts off full but slowly shifts to a new moon the more it is used. To recharge it, it must spend an hour outside under the full moon per phase to return to full. In total it has 3 phases from full moon to new moon.

It could be interesting if an area that’s been converted to Hylian metaphysics is always livable, so you can be standing in rich fields with the wind on your face at daytime, then go a few miles to the side and you’re on a lifeless, airless, barren rock that’s in perpetual darkness.

that is ridiculusly broken. its very easy to recover HP through things like reageneraiotn/fast healing skills, potions, spells and various oher things. So something that converts it to MP a any ratio would be really powerful, gettting more mp than hp, is essentially unlimited MP.

yes, because shit is constantly mentioned. Ainz repeatedly when using abitlies menttions how the game had to patch them to remove players gaming them, like making it so undead cant heal themselves with negative energy touch or that sense sharing spells dont work anymore with incorporal summons.

That sounds like a solid idea to me, I could definitely see the difference between a settled and converted area and a non converted one on the moon being as different as night and day.
I know this idea sorta came out of nowhere and is a little bit of a pivot from the previous stuff. But I want to see what I can do with this potentially.
Hell I could see this as something venti picks up initially as a break from his saintly duties and it just evolves over the years. He essentially starts space colonization/exploration. His own sort of unique mark for hyrule in its own right.

Yeah I could see putting colonies in some places being there mode of operation a bit. A network of settlements linked via portal to some center location, Hyrule and the ship itself. You want it to be robust and have redundancies of course with such a network. layered connections and back ups.

I took one look at the imminent trajectories for both vampire and human in this world, and immediately gave up on growth. A new species would be required to guide this world to eudaimonia. A better species.

"Sister, where's the divine realm?" I asked the strangely muscular, uncharacteristically perverted, currently excommunicated Catholic nun who'd foretold my incarnation. "Eh?! That old thing? It's still through the portal behind the old organ-" "Fantastic, I'm going to create a new species to claim dominion over the Earth. Set your affairs in order, soon you will live eternal but on your knees" "(17th century Ludbich equivalent to 'Based'), I love living on my knees and not getting spared the rod" "It's in God's plan, sister. It's as self-evident as the love in divine providence itself"

Progress on the new species went smoothly. I took inspiration from the combat and demonic angel strains, before incorporating them into the divine seed project my current avatar had been constructed from. Annoyingly though, there were two significant distractions to be dealt with.

"What is the meaning of-"

"You should take your fiance and leave. Your old friend, Kalutika Maybus, is going to seal you and kill your wife because his father beats him every night while screaming it's the humans fault"

I left the homestead. There was only one choice he could make now, however long he put it off. As I measured the carapace, shaped the mandibles and blessed the pincers of the new species, I marvelled at how it would lack any of humanity's inane irrationality. Then something else distracted me.

"Kalutika Maybus"

"How did you get in here?! This is the realm of the gods-"

"Save it. While I sympathise with your murderous contempt for all humanity, I am here to ask you to be objective about committing genocide. Ask yourself. Would you really hate humanity this much if your father didn't beat you?"

"...this is absurd. Release me at once! How have you achieved divinity already?!"

"Skill issue" I said dismissively, flicking off ashes and cinders from wielding the 5th Magic. "Listen. LISTEN. We're going for a long walk. After that, if you still feel the same way I myself will help you torch this planet"

And I took Kalutika on a long, meandering world tour in which he ate curry, boated down the fjords, saw the City of Lights before tourism trashed it, and eventually accepted that actually yeah his rage was just daddy issues and he should probably apply for divine child protection services instead.

Finally free of all distractions, I went back into the holy realm and finished working on the new species. I looked upon them all proudly as they scuttled out, with the bodies of Divine Beasts and the minds of ancient sages. They alone would know eternity, I thought as the cities of mankind trembled at their coming. They alone would grasp infinity, I thought as they started expertly wielding holy magic on a scale comparable to artillery. They were the apex of evolution. My personal Nephilim. My holy crab apex race.

"Excuse me, I'm trying to bask in the subjugation of this planet-"

She caught a small Divine Crab and put a hat on it. "I'm going to call him Mr. Mitts!"

"Do not do this, my species does not require insipid gender. They will live eternal"

"But he SO looks like a Mr. Mitts! He loves his new hat, look, loooooook!"

I wandered away to oversee the smooth transition of dominion over the Earth, still followed by vampire babbling and a small horde of confused Divine Crabs.

I was reading the Burn Legend jump and got to the Okami species entry, which made me remember a funny animal videos compilation on youtube that included the dude who said he was a wolf in every way except physical.
