I don't believe in Jesus Christ because of the shroud, I believe in Him because He called me. It's a personal thing between you and the Holy Spirit working in you. You can not transfer this faith to someone else, especially not to people that don't want to believe in God.
There is also enough historical evidence for those that really need it. Then there is Biblical and prophetic proof of His existence, the history of Christendom of the last 2000 years bears witness to the truth of His word. History is His_Story. Prophecy is history foretold and history is prophecy in the making. Prophecy is mostly there to look back into history and see its fulfillment plain and clear, problem is we have a lot of counter-reformation plots and most people have never even heard of the true Protestant historical interpretation of Revelation prophecy.
I always had my doubts regarding the shroud, it isn't really that important regarding my faith in Christ, it's usually a Roman Catholic thing, which makes me doubt the whole thing. But also scripture makes me doubt since there was actually two separate parts of cloths.
John 20:6-7
Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
