sometimes i see small groups on the ground at cemeteries, they watch me walk by
i often see groups perched high in dead trees as well
occasionally i'll see one or two in town, perched on a house roof or eating something in the road

i like seeing one or two little bats flying overhead, around dusk, that's fairly common
