Have you ever considered that if AI videos and whatnot were actually anything near as good or fully realized as holodecks are portrayed that people might have a change of heart about them?

As it stands, the technology isn't there yet and my brain just immediately tells me something is weird and off every time I look at it.
I would never go into a holodeck if it felt like that.
