i used to eat lifesavers candy when i went to my grandma's house as a kid
i tried some recently, they were completely fucked
just corn syrup and citric acid, holes all over the place, some parts sticky/wet & some parts crumbly/powdery (how the fuck does industrially produced candy come out uneven?)

korean candy seems decent quality, apparently swedish candy does as well? might've been another scandinavian country
