GOT is low-brow and lacks substance. It's literally an edgy 13 year old boys idea of "deep".

Ruling is hard. This was maybe my answer to Isakusan, whom, as much as I admire him, I do quibble with. Blue Archive had a very medieval philosophy: that if the student council president was good, Kivotos would prosper. We look at real history and it’s not that simple. Isakusan can say that the GSC President reigned for a hundred years, and she was wise and good. But Isakusan doesn’t ask the question: What was her tax policy? Did she maintain a standing army? What did she do in times of flood and famine? And what about all these Gematria, Decagrammaton, and Chroma? After the development of Decagrammaton, Gematria is out of the picture but aren't gone - they're outside Kivotos. Did the President pursue a policy of systemic genocide against Decagrammaton and kill them? Even the little baby robots, in their little robot cradles? The events that Isakusan wrote about was a war for the fate of civilization and the future of Kivotos, and that's becomet he template. I'm not sure that it's a good template, though. The Isakusan model led generations of gacha writers to produce these endless series of dark gods and their evil minions who are all female and wear cute clothes. But the vast majority of events throughout history are not like that.

Grey moralism killed literature, most heinous acts in history were committed out of naive idealism but cynics would have you believe nobody could *really* believe in communism or free markets. The idea that people were too smart to disagree with our western liberal ideas is a scourge on literature
