Honestly the crystal economy is way worse than the F2P economy, but SEAniggers can't afford even the smallest dollar purchase so you don't hear about it. $24 (because the $16 pack isn't the full 1k crystals) for a 10-pull, or for a leader asset flip from the first game is depraved. 50 packs for $80 feels like an OK deal compared to a paper TCG until you remember that in a paper TCG you can trade and sell away cards you don't like.
