We've banned plenty of drugs including Pepto-Bismol because of uninformed knee-jerk reactions to so-called scandals. Hell, the Germans shut down their entire nuclear program because of the "risks". Should you close your reactors too? There's a lot of money in nuclear, maybe Big Atom is playing you by telling you it's safe.
