My dude, Stellar Blade had a peak of 192k players in the weekend that game game sold 1 million copies on Steam in 3 fucking days. KCD2 had a peak of 250k and that game sold 3 million in a month. You piece the dots here.
500k+ on steam alone, nevermind the game literally broke the nintendo and sony stores, means that it has already sold more than 2 million copies at least on day 1.

Also Lies of P. Both it and Stellar Blade managed to sell 3+m copies despite being start up companies in a gaming industry that is very competitive and crowded.

There's also a new upcoming game Mudang: Two Hearts which looks like it's inspired by Ghost Recon. I'd dare say their gaming industry is just starting.

By comparison, KCD has sold 3 million copies across all platforms as of last month.
