First, there is no replacement for creation engine.
Second, bethesda mismanages development of the engine and they are incapable of working withing limits of their own tech. They will fuck things up even worse with UE5. Bethesda has competent leadership issues, not technical issues. It's not engine's fault they CHOSE to make a loading screen simulator in 2025 when in 2011 the experience was orders of magnitude better.
There's absolutely nothing in this world stopping bethesda from upgrading their engine OR just designing a game in a way that works around current limitations. It's just out of touch imbeciles in leadership.
