You'll find that unconditional support for Israel is a very protestant stance, which is because of their rejection of the teachings of the Church fathers. Namely that ecumenism, as we understand it today, is heresy.
More recently, the Catholic church has also begun to wave around similar sentiments, which is likely due to the growing Jesuit-Masonic influence within Vatican. In other words, a development towards ecumenism both within Christianity and between religions. Before the 1960s, praying in a jewish synagogue would have been grounds for excommunication, but now we've had known Jesuit Francis doing just that, among other things.
The Orthodox have their own problems, most notably the "ecumenical" patriarch Bartholomew larping as the pope of Orthodoxy, which is absurd, considering Orthodoxy retains the decentralized leadership of the early Church, which presupposes distinct nation states. Bartholomew's actions just reek of freemasonry as well.
Ecumenism is a heresy, and only a fool duped by the world would tell you otherwise. In the early church "ecumenical council", for example, just meant a council of the true believers, basically.
