You can be arrested for "psychological violence" against a woman and have your entire career thrown into the trash because no company will want to hire you, no other LATAM country is like that.

The entire country is getting worse by the day, each day a humongous amount of browns is being born and a humongous amount of whites are dying of old age or leaving the coutry to move to first world nations like Canada, USA, etc. (just this year, 1200 millionaires have been confirmed to having left the country to permanently reside in another location), the few white places are having favelas built around them from the increasing amount of favelados that are now moving there after the media reports that "X" german city in South Brazil is the safest city in the country, and it is full of beautiful german architecture! Prompting hundreds of thousands of northeasterners to migrate there each year and shit it up.

Also there's an entire feud happening right now between members of the Supreme Court of Brazil and the Trump administration, and since our judges refuse to back down, we are under the risk of being disconnected from global economy since Trump would force american banks to cut off services to Brazil and then a huge snowball effect would happen insulating us. And this all happened because one of our judges Moraes demanded Elon to ban certain twitter accounts from right-wing politicians prompting Elon to say no, which in turn made Moraes retaliate by closing X offices in Brazil.

There's a girl who works at a coffee shop I regularly frequent that's always quite flirty with me when I come in (beyond just normal friendly customer service). I have little doubt that if I asked her out she'd say yes, but I'm terrified of what you describe: that we'd go out on a date or two and I'd get the dreaded text from her telling me, "You're a great guy but I'm just not ready for a serious relationship."
