That's what we said about halo and then it killed itself. Personally I am seeing the same self-immolation happen with the dark age. I feel like the very fact that metroid has such an infrequent release schedule is what keeps the power levels low and the setting stable.

It's only an issue if you are playing on some 10 years old notebook that overheats in Duviri and reduces everything to 10 FPS. Otherwise you just turn on some music to run in the background and go do some runs.
