I hate the "races are purely cosmetic" shit.

I even suggested on Steam discussions page that they just have different trait pools for each race. So, for instance, you have the option to customize your orcs, but its between a pool of appropriately orc-y traits with maybe one or two orc-unique traits in the mix, and the people on there acted like I had slapped their fucking mothers.

Why the fuck do units go into these long, narrow formations when you give them move orders?

It's annoying at the best of times, but I was trying to get my dwarf warriors to dodge warp lightning and even though I caught it early enough to dodge it, they immediately got into that retarded long formation and got hit with it anyway.
